No mate on the media benches at the back of the main stand but because of all the media at todays, Chris Irvine, Andy Willson, Dave Hadfield, BCB, Wish FM, Radio Leeds, BBC Sports Extra to name a few it was pretty full so I ended up with the short straw having to sit right on the end behind Connor Murphy and the League Express/League Weekly journos etc. . . . .

As soon as it happend I made an apology straight away and one of the reasons for posting this on here (I do understand it draws unwanted attention to the club) is because after the game I normally see the people in the ground who have been listening to me, but because of the cold weather and performance out onm the field I only had the chance to offer a face to face apology to just one of the supporters for the morons actions.

I thought for a moment that "Bad Mick" had surfaced!

I said this yesterday Mick but once again this was out of your hands and not your fault, the people I spoke to using the system realised what had happenned so apologies have been made and nobody is blaming you at all. The problem for you mate was that you couldn't just break off and get a stewards attention but I'll make them aware of exactly what you are doing and report it to the Club, if you can remember what he looks like we will track him down.

I'd be able to recognise him again if I saw him and I'm guessing he has a season ticket as he came from the black seats about 20 or more rows in front of me.

I think the fact that he was intoxicated didn't help his judgement and choice of words.

WTF were the "stewards" doing? The back of the stand has a thousand of them to "keep order" near the end?

I did notice that there seem to be a couple of people around that seemed more bothered about topping up their glasses than watching the game, judging by the constant coming and going.

I suppose this is one of the downsides of very cheap season tickets. When its so cheap to come to the matches, plus the beer is cheaper I'm led to believe, then you can get the odd numpty who abuses the situation.

To be honest it was that spontaneous I don't think the stewards should get any blame.

I know a few supporters who go and put the social drinking side of things first and the Rugby League second.

Mick lets hope leaving 15 minutes early means he will never come back! The club doesn't need that kind of supporter.
