Well, they announced Donno's 4th ACL rupture yesterday, from the Doncaster game. 4, that's almost unheard of. Poor guy, another 9month layoff. The club will support him, I'm sure. Although he must have some serious mental resilience to go through this a 4th time!

And now Gill and Lui announced 2week loans to Batley, to gain match fitness...


Must be keeping Hurrell then

Don't get it. Hurrell hasn't shown enough for me to keep him. Feel he'll get exposed on a wider pitch. 


Then sending Gill & and Liu to Batley for 1 week (Batley have a bye next week) I maybe get Liu to get fitness but Gills missed 2 weeks! 

Well you could throw defence frailties at both Hurrell and Gill to be fair. Neither look solid defensively recently but perhaps Hurrell is a more typical Noble player. I thought he looked better going forward v Batley but is still clearly lacking fitness.

We've needed another winger in the squad before another centre, but I guess you can only bring I players who are available at the time. Surely when everyone is fit, our first choice centres will be Armitage and Blake? 

Yeah really bad news for Donno.  


Will our left side defence get its act together this week?  It'd be where they target us.  Need our forwards ro land on their fronts in this game as the slow ptb really kills us.  Would be looking at getting Mason back in the 17 for a bit more impact. 

Devastating news regarding Donaldson. He's tough, he'll be back!

Crucial game this, I do think Ott will come into his own given game time and with Souter out this is it.. he will catch out defenders with speed out the ruck.. I expect a low scoring game with a win for us.. Hopefully they will have worked on defence all week..  Barrow 10 Bulls 12.  

This game has just taken even more significance. Widnes beating Toulouse means we can go joint top again, with Toulouse still to come to Odsal. 


Lose and York win, we're third and I think the fans patience will have gone. Time to step up. I really don't want to hear, the boys are hurting, they care etc in 24hrs. 

Widnes doing us a big favour tonight, we need to capitalise on this tomorrow and close the gap on Toulouse.

That is a big favour indeed. If that isn't motivation enough for a big performance tomorrow i don't known what is..... Like Bull Mania said I don't want to hear excuses, i want a decent full 80 minute performance when its matters.

These are the tough games that shape our season. I listened to Noble earlier in the week and like he said, if we lose due to some brilliant skill we have to take that on the chin. But a few times this year we've lost due to poor concentration and basically throwing the game away. York/Barrow at home being prime examples of this and we face them both over the next two weeks.


We are over halfway now and need to start showing we have learnt from previous mistakes. 

I see the grub that is Stack is  not playing today so that increases our chances of keeping a full side on the pitch.
