Jeez, our club has just been liquidated and we get posters trying to tell us that it's not fair? Some people amaze me at times. Just a couple of facts:

1. None of us fans have had any involvement in the running of the club.

2. We think that starting in ch1 is the best option as long as we have a club and some players. We have no control of what the RFL do. If you have an issue then please take it up with them.

3. Right Now, believe It or not, we feel a little bit down so trying to preach to us may not go down so well.

Again, vbfg was not supporting RFL in this, just stating facts. I am still yet to see one of us on here who want to carry on in the Championship with a 12pt reduction, so you really are ranting at the wrong people.

That's very true, once I am in rant mode there is little stopping me though! I am honestly sad for the fans, but on the other side of the coin its infuriating to see the rules constantly changed to benefit whomever they see fit, but there is no RFL board to rant at.

It means that the RFL have someone paying the rent on Odsal and contributing to its upkeep. This both spares the blushes of the RFL and its bank balance. Further I would guess that it will be only too happy for whoever it is to take Odsal off its hands completely! The plus side for the incoming club would be £150k to offset costs in the first year, after which the Bulls will be quietly allowed to drop into Ch1, and the RFL will not be left with any white elephants (apart, possibly, from fat Nige).

There is no extra funding. Read the statement a new club would be entitled to the minimum central funding with the difference going towards closing the current club. RFL will end up with a lot of costs to cover over this.

I only want what's best for Bradford Bulls in the long term and that I feel means a proper set up with a proper plan. IMO that means sitting out this year and applying with finances, a new ground and players roster and coaching set up in place.

If that means as a part time CHamp 1 team then so be it.

Do I care that the other clubs and RFL will be out of pocket in the short term? Not really. I think it's bad but the blame lies squarely with the people that casued this not the players, staff or fans of the now liquidated club.

I don't even feel like revenge against small minded idiots like you. Yes your club would lose out on cash it probably budgeted for but I don't gain any pleasure out of that. Bigger issues right now.

So clubs are offered cap dispensations if they sign redundant players, making it more challenging to put together a competitive squad for any new buyer. Those people saying we should be Championship 1 will see their wishes granted one year later. To give any new club the best chance of long term success, we should start life in C1, where we may win a few games rather than being the whipping boys in the championship

I know from personal experience that watching your team suffer is utter crap. I won't/can't offer false 'consolation', but I want the admin team's appreciation of the approach here to be public.

To put a positive spin, what you will have is a new company running the license granted to the Bradford Bulls, with a lower level of debilitating financial commitments for next year, and run better, more efficiently, with Championship gates (which will allow growth). No one supports the company. Fans support the licence granted to the Bradford Bulls by the RFL, and all that has happened is that the owner of the license will change, but on a better and more solid footing. I'm sure most things are in place.

Onwards and upwards. See you in the Million Pound Game in 2018.

I feel for the Bulls fans- but the RFL proposal stinks to high heaven.
Sod the people owed a million (including players and staff) just start again with no debts from scratch like some dodgy builders firm.
The Bulls should keep going but they shouldn't be just given a place in the championship to save the RFLs blushes. What message does that give to the other clubs doing the right thing in champ 1!

It does seem odd for any new club to be potentially allowed to remain in the championship in 2017 but those that aren't happy about it from other clubs will soon get their wish to see Bradford in League 1 as survival in the championship would be virtually impossible. The team (if there is one) would be made up of players not wanted anywhere else. The coach? Well who knows? The future? I don't expect us to be afford to keep running our academy on no central distribution.

Any new owner is therefore going to have a job on to sell any tickets for 2017 and therefore find it difficult to make ends meet. Admin again this time next year anyone? Or maybe we might be spared the trouble...

If there is one good thing to come out of all this it is that it has pee'd off Blue Sox fans.

So in summary those from other clubs need not bother getting their knickers in twist unless we pull off the impossible and reform and manage to stay up.
