Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "I think a little bit of slack needs to be cut. Four from four over Easter, ending with a half century, is not that shabby. There will have been some aching muscles and knocks carried on to the pitch and it took some time to get the scoreboard moving properly, but to say it was "the worst we've played" is inexplicable. We topped 50, and got held up over the line about 6 times plus blew another. Some of the attacking play in the last quarter was top drawer.'"
A good score and second half hides the awful first half. We have a habit of not starting well and then coming back at the end. I think the “worst we’ve played” is definitely something I think is appropriate for that first 40 minutes.
As soon as we start to throw the ball around and depart from the big man up the middle every play, we look dangerous. I do wonder why we don’t do it more often.
