Whilst I agree that the bomb that he dropped was a game changer I still think he's a good player. He has claimed some high kicks under pressure as well and IIRC he has won us a couple of penalties for being tackled in the air.

I thought Oscar was one of our better players against KR despite having a group of lads sat behind me slating him all game!

Yeah I think Campbell was at FB for the last try wasn't he? Either way, I want to see the replay to see just where the hell he was. As soon as the kick went over, I just sat bemused as to why absolutely nobody was there.

The one Thomas took out was entirely his fault though. Wicked bounce? Yes. But he was stood far too close to the ball shepherding it out with nobody anywhere near him. With a Rugby League ball, it can always bounce funny and he was stupid to be that close.

On today's (and previous) evidence, it's clear Oscar is not a half back. Fullback? He's played well in the main. I appreciate he was only playing in the halves out of necessity today, but I'd rather play Vila there than Oscar in future.
