Even if there is no way for them to get it delivered, they should at least tell customers that when they're ordering. Advise them of the situation when they order, so the customer can make a decision based on the correct info. Only telling people when they ring up to ask where their stuff is, is quite terrible.

That's not the half of it either. Originally, she ordered enough stuff to qualify for the 50 quid free delivery amount, but a day or two later got a call saying that they no longer had something in stock that she had ordered, and refunded the money for that item (was pleased with that aspect of the service, by the way). However that took the total under the free delivery amount and the management refused to honour the free delivery for the original order. They didn't tell us this, though. They held on to the order until she called a week later asking where it was, at which point they said it wasn't sent cos postage hadn't been paid! So we begrudgingly paid the postage and now this.
