What's happened to Sammut? His two moments of madness (or kicks) costs us today. A neat chip into Whitehead's hands then a simple drop-goal effort under no pressure at all. If he drilled the first kick into touch, Kearney wouldn't have ended the game in the shed. Interesting to read that he was dropped to the bench today by FC after last week's performance at Wakey. Shame it didn't motivate him to up his game. Gutted.

He had a stinker today, that's for sure. But his efforts have helped the team to win plenty of games this season so I find it hard to be too critical on the guy.

I don't think the chip to the corner was such a bad idea, just the execution. I think he was trying to land it in corner so we could peg them on the line. If he had tried to drill it for touch then it could have hit legs and rebounded to Cats player, I think right choice of kick, badly executed

Interesting in todays T&A that FC says he didn't know how Sammut would be mentally for match for Dragons!!

I did think it was a strange thing for FC to say. If he's struggling mentally, there might be a little more happening than meets the eye. He didn't play anywhere near his usual standard yesterday, I think FC would have been justified if he was to bring him off in the second half.

I thought he wasn’t fit but those comments from FC suggest something else is afoot. While I’d like to keep Sammut he’s infuriating at times. The past two weeks have been well below par for him.

You only have to follow Sammut on Twitter to know he's off to Salford! Some very cryptic yet thinly veiled tweets, and his missus was mightily peed off at not getting paid on time and took to Twitter to let everyone know.

In fact all you have to do is follow all the wives including FC's to know exactly what's going on at Odsal

That's a very odd thing for FC to say.

To be fair he put in a great tackle on Duport when he was racing away down their left side, and a tackle on Webb on the last tackle.

He didn't look fit to me but perhaps his mind is elsewhere.
