I think there has been some regression to the mean after some encouraging early season performances. Thin squad has been stretched and certain players a little exposed.

WTF is going on with us, is it the lost 3 games lost the mind set routine. it was said last week that the was FC most difficult time try ing to rally the team, on this performance i have to agree.

Seems like having Wigan, Wire and Leeds in a row has taken its toll physically and mentally. I would imagine any confidence built earlier in season has just gone completely. Wouldn't have minded a nice run in the cup but always thought tonight would be a big ask.
