Any news on where the sky money got distributed?
Sadly couldn't get there with work commitments.

I don't have access to the figures involved, but most of what we were given re the sky monies was ours to take anyway. All we were doing was taking our share slightly earlier due to our cashflow demands.
If the RFL did end up paying some of our wages etc., I seriously doubt the final tally was equal to HALF of our annual allowance for the next TWO YEARS.

We bought our licence, plain and simple. Exactly as I said at the time.

Calling it 'Paying for our licence' isn't unreasonable to be fair, but they shouldn't have given the money to the other clubs. I'm sure there must be more deserving causes around the world of RL, like the junior competition or even in the amateur game.

I am affraid the great scales which for some reason are asked to judge between the deserving and the undeserving seem frequently be balanced towards undeserving - not only in RL!

Other than the cards already paid for are available for collection/will be posted out from tomorrow, no. Can't see many more being sold now the early bird has finished, to be honest, much as OK and Gerry were still being very bullish (sorry) about remaining hopeful for 10k.
