| Caisley has garnered 50.blob% of the shareholders to oust Hood and Bennett. They demanded they leave in early April but they failed to understand the M&As of the company; all shareholders have to be notified of a request for removal of any Directors and obviously have the right to vote on the proposed motions. As the outcome is preordained, Hood and Bennett find themselves surely, in an untenable position. They had an offer on the table after the Leeds game which was never fulfilled after the original promise of investment. With respect to kindergarten politics, Hood has, on many, many occasions asked Caisley to come back on board and that request has not been accepted. Some comments on this thread are completely beyond belief. Stop speculating and look at the facts!

| and yet and yet....life just seems to be carrying on; confirming kick offs for games in June, summer 'touch league' to run throughout the summer. Why does everything seem so normal?
Is it only because I [iwant it[/i to be normal that it seems so? Or are there really feet paddling like hell under the water, and something being lined up? Even the EGM is going to be right at the end of May (yeah, I know, the logistics, legal timetables and the rest) surely that is too late unless [isomething[/i is already in place (put there by whom, I don't know) but ready to rock and roll?
We just seem to be in that 'phoney war' period where war has been declared but the bombs have yet to drop.

The bombs may not have dropped yet, but the special forces have been in action behind the lines for a while now...

I much prefer war analogies to car analogies. I hate car analogies.

I haven't got mine yet, though this is really only because I'm not sure if the wife is going or not, added to the fact that I doubt there will be a shortage..
