Jamie Peacock vs Stuart Fielden?'"
this one will be very interesting reading as both were fantastic whilst at the bulls
but since they departed one player cost his new club £450,000 for his signature
where as the other was signed for his new club for nowt, and is regarded as that clubs best ever signing during the sl era
oh and he also sorted out big willie mason for him too

Well, if you take it in simple terms of a tries to appearance ratio then Tupou wins. However, as maligned as St Hilaire was, he was a better all round player than Tupou as well as beating him hands down when it comes to fitness

You're not really being serious, are you?
Jeff Grayshon MBE was one of the all time best props at the Northern/Bulls, a colossus, a non pareil, a freak of a man who could off-load the ball when held by four tacklers (and what's more knew when not to), he also had a great ability to put others through the gap when he didn't burst through himself and was a strong defender and brilliant pack leader.
Paul, on the other hand, wasn't. I'm not being cruel to Paul or making cheap shots because, in truth, he was in good company, as very very few others could compare with Big Jeff either.

| fieldon or peacock.....
Fieldon was probably always touted to become great from being a youth, came through and really burst onto the scene was along with webcke considered best prop in world above others for a few years. Until the mason thing happened he was without doubt one of most feared players in world. Played as many minutes as he could and often had 80minute games which for props was ridiculous at the time. He pretty much won that world club challenge on his own against wests. We got a lot of money for him at a point I dont think anyone bar brian noble would have paid that for him, and time wise we got rid at a good time.
Peacock won a man of steel award - was rescued by us after his hometown club rejected him as a junior, we nurtured him patiently and got him to the point of where his hometown team came begging and admitted they were wrong to not sign him in the beginning, he got loads of medals from us and the fact he has continued and got as many elsewhere (forgetting still no challenge cup medal from leeds and has he had a world club challenge medal from them?) .so there is a lot of satisfaction from both and I know longevity wise peacock is clearly the man but from 98- 2004 big stu was the man.whereas JP for the bulls took longer to get into his groove and fight to be considered our first choice second rower. tough tough tough
Marcus - another i despised he was at leeds and tactically as important as iestyn with the interchange policy for them, so to get him at same time was irritating and he did make big mistakes but I do recall cheering him scoring at headingley as I am a hypocrit when it comes to former players scoring against the loiners.
Nickle was one of my first real favourite players right from watching him smack edwards for saints in a cup game as a back rower was pacey and great support player. and rightly off the pitch a nice guy.
