I guess that the coach will have some idea of what his first 17 will be, but yes, everyone should get a fair crack of the whip. I think Mick played more games last year than he might have done (and more than form suggested he ought to have) due to the injuries.
I think such as Elliott Whitehead, one of the few success stories from last season, was over played a bit too, undoubtedly for the same reason. Though Elliott kept his form much better, he did drop off a little at the end of the season. I suspect the same fate might have befallen James Donaldson too, but for his injury and he's even younger. If there is one thing above all I hope for, for this season, it's that Potter has better luck with the injuries than Macca did.
