Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "Thing is, though, it's all in the hands of Mick Potter now. People who know a bit have obviously seen something about the lad seeing as he has been playing in SL for a few years now, and so if despite his performances this season Potter keeps him, the I'll re-reserve my judgment and be happy to watch with interest what Potter does with him. Doesn't strike me as a coach who has blind spots.
I remember being quite enthusiastic when we signed him, billed as perhaps the fastest forward in the league, and it is both a shame and a bit tragic what has become of him in 2010. Wherever he ends up, things can surely only get better?'"
Whereas I remember being gutted about his signing and declaring on here that he was the worst player in the league. 2 years on, I stick by that statement.
Rather than having that view, I'm more inclined to question the judgement of any coach who thinks he's a Super League quality player. Yes, they know more than me, but in my opinion, I don't see how anyone can rate the guy that highly. If Potter signs him to a new deal, I'm going to lose all the confidence I currently hold in the new coach.
