| All in all, a satisfactory performance.
Starting with the best bit, what a revelation Kearney was running out of defence from fullback. Easily worth the admission money alone to watch him.
Silverwood let Quins peg down our attackers for about 15 minutes at a time all night, and, well, let's just say that he won't keep this DVD as his finest hour, and we were usually on the wrong end of some shall I say highly dubious calls. Plus, they want to sort out this "tackle into touch" nonsense. I know what they say they're trying to avoid, but on good all-in-one motion tackle and push across the touchline was given as a pen against us, yet it just never was. If you can't do that, then you can't do anything.
Also, having just the other week had 2 men comprehensively tackled in the air, yet ignored by the officials, here we saw Sheriffe penalised for what was, if anything, the merest of brushes against an opponent. Risible.
However, despite the low score, there was some really scintillating attacking play at times when the Bulls cut loose, and the defence was, again, excellent. But that man Kearney really was superb, the Quins had no answer to him. And Langley was back to his imperious current form.
Hope Lynch is OK, he looked to have a nasty left knee injury.

| knew last nights game would be a low turn out as most cant afford to go to loads of games and with rhinos game on thursday a few will have stayed at home to save money for next week.
plus be lucky if london brought 100 up think they are gonna struggle as crowds were poor for london when they were doing well but a poor london team will be lucky to have any fans come end of season

| Quote: mat "think your being wildly optiistic if you think london brough 100 last night, bakers dozen sounds closer to mark.
They still outsang the home crowd from start to finish. It was like a morgue in there last night.
It didn't help that I got drunk. I've stopped drinking so last night was my first in a while and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Not good.
I ended up buying two copies of the Anita Donigan with Henry and Robbie Paul CD's for a quid each. An inspired purchase. A. I've already got it, B. the songs it are rubbish (run with the bulls excepted) and C. why two copies? I think the logic was they are only a quid. I need to stay away from the shop when I've had a few.

I suspect he is on a fairly modest contract though, assuming limited appearances. Something the club may need to look at doing something about if we are to keep him, since you can guarantee moneybags Moran et al will be circling, and no doubt his agent will be winding him up about him being worth more in the time-honoured manner of such honourable gentlemen.'"
I don't suppose his agent is a guy well known to all of us at the Grattan Stadium?
