| Just been reported on Facebook that Tony ex Saints and Wire Player has passed away, Top Bloke Tony, from a sporting family that was well respected in the RL fraternity, I worked with Tony and Billy Benyon on the Ambulance Station in Jackson St when it was being built, Halcyon days. Sincere condolences to all Tony's family.

| Very sad news. I met Tony years ago whilst having rehabilition from knee surgery and he always had time for you. Tony was always smiling and having a laugh - really top bloke. RIP.

| Sad news. When did he play for us, I don't remember seeing him in my time watching Saints? (80's onwards).

| Guys It is Tony Barrow Jnr that has passed away. He played for Oldham and Swinton.
the pictures posted on some facebook sites are of Tony Barrow Jnr but he is the spitting image of his father so when they omit the "jnr" it can be an easy mistake to make.
condolonces to Tony Barrow Senior who will always be a Warrington legend for that great side he built, no father should have to bury their son

Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.:Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG |

Tony Barrow (Snr) played for us in the early to mid sixties, first couple of seasons he was in the A team a lot, centre-stand off-wing from memory.
Tony Barrow (Jnr) R.I.P. don't think he ever played for saints.
They both look identical, so its easy to get mixed up which one for each particular era.

| Tony Barrow snr was the Coach of the Warrington side when we won the 1986 Premiership trophy.
In 1988 I was on the British Lions tour down under and Tony snr was the tour guide, so got to know him.
Rum times, but we all got back in one piece.
Got a feeling Tony jnr may also have been there.
Condolences
