I personally would have kept Walsh if the was nothing else out there. Imo he's better than Smith.

Why has he left?
Did he want out or did the club not offer him a new deal, or mutual agreement?

We have to be honest, the Walsh signing didn't really work out like we all hoped. The lad is class when he turns up with that there is no doubt. He suffered a terrible injury and we lost him for a very long time and for a good while after that he was a defensive liability whom the opposition targeted.

I wish him all the best but I feel it's best for both Walsh and the club that we parted ways.

I'd have given him another year, but may be he wanted more.

I think if he had not got injured that badly, going off his form when he first signed would have definitely been back as a starting 7 in the NRL IMO. Still remember that first game against Warrington he was superb
