Not posted on your pages before but now I have a question to ask.

It has been rumoured on our pages that Leigh have approached Saints about a possible loan deal for Travis.
I believe the rumour has come about due to other rumours & uncertainty regarding Rangi Chase & it has been suggested that Travis is 'out of favour' with KC.
It appears to be fairly plausible but then again could be utter bo-lax !!

What do you guys think ?

Entirely possible, burns and KC fell out at the end of last season, and despite a few attempts to repair the relationship earlier in the year, it's obviously not been successful and he's a very expensive reserve league halfback at the moment.

That being said, it's usually Saints policy is usually not to let a player go without someone to come in to replace him

It sounds as though KC has segregated some of the squad into 3 partitions in "Bad Boys" "Favourites" "Project"

Sounds entirely plausible, and I think you'd get good value out of him.

He's as much trouble as Rangi Chase. Ask on the HKR board if they were sorry to see him go, he wasn't popular at all, particularly with the younger players and that's why he got the pasting on his return game there.

On what basis can you say he is as much trouble as Rangi Chase? Chase has been involved in numerous incidents which have brought bad press to himself and his clubs...Burns hasn't. Just because a couple of people on the Hull KR board weren't sorry to see him go doesn't mean he's trouble...I also know quite a lot of Hull KR fans who were very disappointed to see him leave there so guess it depends which people you speak to. The opinions of a few people are hardly enough to start saying he's trouble.

FWIW I think Burns is a quality player and would like to see him feature more for us this season, but if he is on his way to Leigh I think you will have a cracking player

Maybe as much trouble is an over exaggeration, but my information about his "attitude" at HKR came form a club sponsor and someone connected with their supporters association. From their comments Burns was not a popular player with the rest of the team, particularly the with younger players.

He was a bully to the younger players, nothing was ever his fault. Got away with it because we had keating as seven. He was a pussy and never stood up to him. Can't believe we got money for him.

Now that Chase has left Leigh does that pave the way for Burns to leave Saints?

Hopefully, can he please take Fatty Owen and Les Dawson with him.
