| It's looks like we are now in a battle with Cas for that 4th spot. Leeds will finish top and wigan who are looking more like the wigan from last year will come second. Hudds look on great shape and in form will come 3rd.
Our remaining fixtures are - leeds (a), Cas (a), wigan (h), Warrington (h).
On current form I can't see where our next win will come from. Leeds is a hammering in the making. Cas could be the make or break game for us. Wigan will destroy us and Warrington will be a 50/50 game.
Id say 4 points at the most but more likely no points.
Cas remaining fixtures - hudds (a), saints (h), leeds (a), wigan (a).
I can only see Cas beating saints from those fixtures. My worry is that leeds and wigan will have nothing to play for in those last two games. The fact that everybody plays each other in the top 8 might give us a chance as we are two points ahead of Cas at moment.
So how you all think it will pan out?

Teams often do have a bit of a Challenge Cup final hangover so we could turn Leeds over. We've beat Warrington a few times this season and in the second game against Wigan our pack dominated. We should have beat Cas. It was only a out of character knock on by Roby that cost us.
It wouldn't surprise me if we lost all 4...but at the same time, a win against Leeds could lift us to win all 4.

Not a chance we will win all four. Not a chance in hell. Leeds and wigan will put big scores on us

| Only match I can see being won is Warrington and that is 50/50, Castleford are never easy away, and same with Leeds away, cup final or not, they look too disciplined and organised this season.

| I'm going for 2 home wins and hoping Huddersfield and Cas falter along the way to get us into 3rd place on points difference. This gives us an away play off with Wigan at DW which is winnable if we can return form. The probably is I can't see anyone stopping Leeds to the final and if we got the slim chance to play them its more of a mental hurdle than a physical one.

Leeds may do. We should put a good scrap up against Wigan at home.
You just never know mate. I agree it's v unlikely but a week away from it all might do us good.
Teams have these dips don't they were you just can't see where the next win's coming from. I just want us to play some creative rugby. I don't think we'll win the GF but it can be a funny game. Remember when Saints went on that really long winning run in 2007 (I think) to get thrashed in final? We looked unstoppable before that.
The one thing that's certain in SL is that you can't predict it.

| You'll finish fourth and go out to Leeds in the semi-finals.

| Saints are not a bad side this season, they have just lost their Mojo at the moment. A week off, some quality training and who knows. I reckon if you have to play Leeds at ours, you have got the best slot. Straight after the CC, I can not see us putting a big score on you. And whilst the bookies will probably have us as favourites, if your guys come good and we have a bit of a CC hangover, you could surprise yourselves.

| There's a definite over negativity setting in after that debacle on Thursday. Warrington at home when they have nothing to play for is not 50/50, bookmakers will have us as overwhelming favourites in that game if we need to win it.
In a worst case scenario we'll win 1 of remaining games and finish 5th. Best case is we win all 4, which is possible, and if other scores go our way finish 2nd. Personally I think we'll end up winning 3 of the 4 and in 3rd, losing to Wigan in the semi

| Don't see a big performance by Leeds on the cards, we may scrape it, we may not. Think you'll beat the pies and wire. Maybe cas too; their performance in France asks many questions of what their true capabilities are going into the last few games. Don't know why but I've got a feeling that saints have a big role yet to play this season. Maybe you're just a little too quiet.

Have you seen us play this year? We have been dire! I can't see it changing now. I hope so but doubt it.

| Its really gone off a cliff for us, this year.
We played some decent stuff at the beginning of the year, but we also excelled in effort. Unfortunately, it seems that "playing for KC" may have lost its novelty value. Combined with a complete regression of tactics, it looks bleak.
I wonder how much of a boost Wilkin will be when he returns with his armoury of "intangibles", but its looking like an uphill battle.
It seems like the common, pessimistic view of Cunningham's appointment it looking correct at this point.
That doesn't mean it can't change (and change quickly). We had some very grim days under Brown. I even remember losing at home to Hull in 2006 and thinking that we may always fall a bit short on the big occasion (Hull had dumped us out of the cup in 2005 in very unceremonious fashion. Its also important to note that, at this time, Hull were contenders).

| Had we not got so many injuries during the Leeds semi we'd have beaten them (and i'm not saying that they didn't deserve to win by the end of the game) and we'd be looking at things differently.
Leeds will have a cup hangover, and don't need to win.
Cas have just been hammered at a place where we were still in the game with 10 mins to go
Wigan is Wigan.
Wire are dire and will have nothing to play for.
We'll win four and get to the GF. Then it's anyone's game...

I reckon your club should get rid of Cunningham and draft YOU in as replacement coach.
Everytime I pay this board a visit you seem to know everything and have the answers to everything.
Time for McManus to give you the gig.
