It's been confirmed this morning that he has dislocated his shoulder. That's him absent for a few weeks I would think. |

To be fair, Wilkin got his injury when trying to score off a Walsh kick. I don't think a dislocation in that circumstance is something a fitness coach or physio or anyone can avoid short of not bothering to try and score. It's just unfortunate.

I think fans look at their injuries and think they worse than any other team but injuries are far more common these days at all clubs, I don't think we are are any worse than other teams. Wigan have been doing it very tough.
If the was a spate of pulled muscles or muscle injuries then I'd think the could be a problem but if you look at Manu with broken thumb, laffranchi with arm injury, Wilkin dislocated shoulder, Percy with dead leg, Turner suspected broken foot, Mose came after a ankle op, Amor knee (the way hell fell caused it), they are all injuries that are part and parcel of rugby league.
The fact players are so big, lean and athletic makes impacts massive and injuries will always happen.

I,m wondering if it was disclocated when he was making his run off Walsh and didn;t pass to Wello, he did manage to get the ball out of the tackle but came out of the play with the shoulder injury.

He injured it trying to get on the end of a Walsh grub we kick in the in goal area. |

At Warrington we have been hit hard with injuries this year. Woody has been out all season Simon Grix & Richie Myler for a good few games, Ben Harrison has only just started playing & apart from his current ban Super Ben was missing for about 6 games. We have lost Trent for at least 10 weeks and last Friday we lost Joel & Ben Currie to head injuries and James Laithwaite to a broken bone in his foot. In addition in the close season we lost from our squad Lee, Moz, Carvell, Cooper & Brett.
Those names formed the bulk of our Grand Final team all gone or missing for a lot of games. As St Pete says all fans think thier injury situation is the worst but in Warrington's case it probably is. |

thankfully for us Wilko's arm seems to be in good shape to-day at Bradford carrying a microphone & trotting about the field as in Robbie Hunter Paul style.Made agood job if it as well.
