| Anyone at the ground confirm how bad it was? The Wakefield fans seem to think it was a retaliatory and deliberate swinging arm to the head. From the radio commentary it seemed he carried on his influential start to the season today, with us a much better side when he was on the field.
We could really do with him against Leeds.

I think he has a EGP anyway.
Jesus they spouting some crap.
Anyone would think Tim Roby and steve Ganson was actually playing as that's all they taking about.

| Did anyone else get a good view of the Wilkin incident? It happened just in front of us and it didn't look good. He was clearly riled by McShane catching him late from his kick and he went looking to put a big shot on the next tackle. It looked like a reckless swinging arm and he connected flush on the face/head of Riley. I expect a ban for him.
Amor didn't look as bad but will obviously be looked at seeing as it was placed in report. Hopefully he will get off with a warning; I certainly didn't think it was as bad as the Wakefield fans made out.

| Happened right in front of me. Wasn't a stiff arm. He lashed out with his arm in frustration but because Ryan was moving away from him, I think he caught him with his fist. Wasn't a deliberate punch and had Ryan been nearer to him, would have been a lazy arm across his chops. That's how I saw it.
Amor wasn't dirty with us. Presume he isn't with you. His record will help, but it looked petulant, and looked bad.

| It looked shocking. I don't know what he was thinking but it looked as though as Ryan was running towards him he threw a massive right hand at his nose. Based on Robys performance I was hugely surprised that he didn't award Saints a penalty try as a result. My god he was bad, so bad that it made me question his integrity.

Get beat did we?
You tried to slow us down all day with your spoiling attics and it was only in the 2nd half that the ref finally started to take action.
This sour grapes nonsense is quite embarrassing.

They'd convinced themselves they'd won before the game had kicked off, and we only made it worse by having a poor first half. This is the problem of repeatedly playing teams who pulverise London the week before. They seem to think it will have some baring on how they play against a team like saints. Happened at hull too.
I doubt there would of been a second word said about Amor, lomax the "dying swan", ganson being in the refs room or anything else had Wakefield got the 2 points today.

Exactly. Poor reaction from the Wakefield club in general today.
Having said that, I fear the worst re.Wilkin and I can see him getting a ban which would leave us struggling massively for next Friday.

I see little choice other than to promote charnock in that case!
Of course, it's worth baring in mind, that given the lack of facilities at BV there's only gonna be a couple of camera angles at best, and who knows what they'll show.

Wheeler should be available so that's one of the two half back slots sorted. I'd rather see Hohaia or Lomax in the other place rather than Wellens.
I realise that Lomax is more dangerous at 1 but I think 1 and 7 combo of Makinson/Lomax is better than Lomax/Wellens.

A worst case team would look something like
Makinson
Dawson Percival jones swift
Wheeler lomax
Laffranchi Roby Walmsley
Flanaghan Manu
Wellens
Hohaia soliola masoe Richards
?
My concern with reshuffling again is that there are no kickers in that team, which is why I'd feel compelled to give charnock the nod.

Thanks for your observations. We got done rather than beat. Roby was truly inept, one call that was a peach was for interference when poor willie plain dropped the ball. Kirmond was stood upright 3-4ft away from him - still good luck against leeds - if you get roby reffing the game you are a shoe in, if not well I cant see anything other than a sound beating. I will be putting my hard earned on the whinos - lots of it.
