Indeed. RU can afford to take big money in exchange for reduced exposure of club rugby due to the massive press they get from their international game. We'd need to be offered silly money to consider restricting our exposure to that sort of level.

I would not believe anything that comes out of Red Hall, it is pure survival tactics of one member of senior staff.

Yes League may get better viewing figures than Union, but those figures are just a drop in the ocean, even if they were 300,000!

The problem is the Sky contract was rushed though too quickly, clubs were held to ransom, and what will the money be worth in 8 years time, will we as a sport have sold ourselves short financially?
