| Did Walmsley come back on 2nd half????
I do wonder if we where carrying a few bumps last night.
Clough and Wellens only came on 2nd half. I think Walmsley only did the one stint.
Hard to tell when you are at the game watching, but I was wondering if Walmsley was still carry a knock after last week.

I think big Alex hasn't been the same in the last month of the season. Those line breaking runs have gone. Maybe he's carrying a knock or maybe his first season has caught up with him a little.
He can be proud of his first season, he exceeded all expectations.

| I think he just isn,t 100% fit at the moment and is still suffering from those shoulder and rib injury,s he has picked up this month.
All his match time has been invaluable to carry into the next season.

| I thought so.
You get lost at the game and don't keep full track of players on and off.

| Walmsley had injections in his rib from what I've been told, so was never fully fit. It obviously backfired.

| Seemed like we only used Walmsley and Laffranchi in the first half and Wellens and Clough in the second half.
I think that told a lot because for a lot of the game it felt like we had no go-forward and it was left to the wingers to get us out from our line.
If he wasn't fit Walmsley should never have played but I understand why the risk was taken

| Having said that, Leeds lost jjb early in the game and McGuire played virtually the whole game on one leg, so we didn't do too bad

| Walmsley and Laffranchi I thought did reasonably well in the first half and TBH it was TP who looked to be struggling.
Although Walmsley wasn't as effective in breaking tackles I thought it was more down to a determined Leeds defence rather than him not being fully fit? I was puzzled as to why he didn't return and assumed he had picked up a knock.

| Walmsley went into the game with cracked ribs. Had injections so he could play.

And he still managed to stop a Ryan Bailey in his tracks when on full charge. Bailey had his chicken feathers ruffled by young Alex, looking forward to seeing Alex fitter, stronger, tougher next season.
