| hey Saints, any idea how you guys are going to line up on Friday night? Despite our poor performance at Warrington I'd bet McDermott will stick with the same team, so we'll be:
1. Zak Hardaker
2. Ben Jones-Bishop
3. Kallum Watkins
4. Joel Moon
5. Ryan Hall
13. Kevin Sinfield
6. Danny McGuire
8. Kylie Leuluai
7. Rob Burrow
10. Jamie Peacock
11. Jamie Jones-Buchanan
15. Brett Delaney
12. Carl Ablett
16. Ryan Bailey
17. Ian Kirke
23. Brad Singleton
26. Liam Sutcliffe

What's the script with McGuire at the moment? I have read that a lot of Leeds fans are having a bit of a go at him?

Just not had a great season, has gone missing in a number of games (including Wire) and while a great reader of the game, no longer has the pace or agility to create something from nothing, or to finish off most half-breaks.
The result is that while he & Sinfield make a great tactical halfback combination for moving the team around, they aren't particularly exciting or capable of energising the backline (see Leeds' problems in scoring tries this year, where Hall has got barely half as many as he did last year).
At the same time Liam Sutcliffe has come in and looked a million dollars, and we have Stevie Ward coming back for the start of next season. The result is that McGuire really needs to perform to stay ahead of the kids, and he hasn't as of late. So it looks like he might well make way in the halves for Sutcliffe pretty soon.
That said, he just seems to have bad years in the odd numbers. A rather indifferent 2011 was followed by a very good 2012. But at 31 in a few weeks, he ain't getting any younger.

| Just looking at our side that won at Headingley back in May this season from 16 points down. We were missing Lomax,Swift,Meli,Hohaia and Roby that day! We've got reason to give ourselves a chance here, dry track is forecast that can only help us.

Not yet. I would imagine a lot will depend on whether those who picked up knocks are sufficiently fit for Friday (Lomax, Walmsley, Wilkin and possibly Robes if that tackle did him damage).

| I would say Walmsley would be the biggest doubt but I imagine the team will be same again.

Worth remembering that we were without Jones-Bishop, Peacock, Ablett & Singleton.
Given your guys biggest worry seems to be up front, I think that
Leuluai-Burrow-Bailey
-----JJB-Delaney-----
-------Clarkson-------
with Moore, Kirke & Achurch on the bench
Is much less stern a test than
Leuluai-Burrow-Peacock
------JJB-Delaney------
---------Ablett---------
with Bailey, Singleton & Achurch on the bench

You seem to be forgetting we played Josh Perry at Headingley in May, he is about as effective as playing with a man less so we were pretty much a prop down that day
Joking aside, I think our main worries about knocks from last week are Walmsley and Wilkin, but would expect both to be fit and us to be unchanged from last week. Has all the makings of a classic game for me

if the Leeds team that showed up against Wire and against you in May performs to that standard i think you have more than enough reason to be optimistic, infact i have no doubt you will beat us as you have looked in decent form for a while now and with key players back too.Thing is, this is normally the time Leeds kick it up as gear with it being knock out from here on in, and we as Leeds fans would expect a response from last weeks game. That said you wonder if, and there has to be a time soon when this Leeds team goes to the well one too many times and comes up empty.Hopefully not Friday!
Should be a great game, and hopefully both sides will play to their maximum. If they do, i fancy us to just edge it with home advantage.really looking forward to it.

| That's the thing. How many times have we thought, well we will beat them this year. Trust our bogey team to be the team we meet in the Grand Finals.

| Looks like we are sticking with the same squad as last week.
Maybe in the hope they can`t play any worse.

| Friday could go either way in truth, cases can be made for both sides to win. I just feel Saints are on a roll and playing with confidence, not to mention having key players fit and firing.
Same team for me, and Saints by 4.

| Our best hope is that Leeds are still a bit battered from the Warrington game
It'll be twice as hard as last week, and I can't call it
