Doesn't look like they expect a big gate if they are effectively giving tickets away.
Will be interesting to see if it boosts the gate, or just saves the hardcore fans a few bob they would have spent anyway.

Slightly off topic but this seems a good idea regarding season tickets from Huddersfield.
The Giants have also launched a new initiative called SKY SWAP where any home Super League game that is moved for Sky TV (change of day) after the start of the season will see Season Ticket holders eligible for discounts off a 2015 Season Ticket. Terms and conditions apply.

I see it as a more positive step, always better to have 10k people paying £15 than 5k paying £25. Better for the fans and better for the club.

Money does get pooled, and I think its the RFL who set the prices for the playoffs not the clubs. |

Not sure who sets the prices as different matches are different prices and there maybe running costs to take into account.
But who ever sets the price, its better for Saints to get as many in as possible. Even if the gate money is pooled. The pies and beer/coffee money will all go to Saints.

The Tickets are a different price for all the play-off games, Huddersfield first 5000 a tenner. Warrington - £19 - £27.50 (advance purchase) / £20 - £29 (matchday).
