Strange this one. What has made him leave? It was exactly this kind of move that prompted the big changes to the cap levels in the NRL. They were designed specifically to keep him, Slater and Inglis, in the NRL.

I don't think he's held in the same regard as those players, to be honest. His form has been pretty hit and miss for Wests by all accounts, too. |

Given the money floating round the NRL at the moment I cant see a SL club being able to get even close what a star halfback could get over there. Union obviously could throw money at him but I wouldn't be shocked to hear he's changed his stance on playing against the Tigers.
Who can blame the man for not wanting to work with Mick Plodder !!
