Gardner is okay, will have a banging headache though. Initially doesn't look to be any damage at all to the neck or spine which was a worry.

If what you say is true that's good news, got to know him from my boys and his going to the same school and while we are waiting for them to come out of school we chat a bit, and he's a nice guy, down to earth and friendly, speedy recovery mate

I just wish he would stay on his wing and not get sucked in all the time - as in Hudds first try tonight and a couple last week . Surely this should be analised during video sessions during the week , never seems to learn tho.

I suppose the only thing you might say in defence is if his centre gets sucked in Gardner is going to shuffle across to fill the gap - so the whole defensive line is in bad shape.

They should try the simple method of numbering up, but this in itself has a weakness as players don't have confidence in the man next to them to complete his tackle!

Thought he had an ok game before he went off! Was he the one who committed himself to stop brough kicking his way for a try! Wingers do tend to look bad if the partnership isn't working but is that down to Gardner?

When he's stuck in the middle of the field (and I'm talking in front of the posts pretty much) while the opposition stroll in for a try then yes it is! He's doing it too often, regardless of who is his centre.
