What a find this lad looks! Cracking game from the lad, Wigan struggled to contain him. He played a huge role in getting Saints back in the game in the 2nd half.

It just proves there are some gems knocking about in the championship, I thought he was by far and away our best player today.

Big, athletic and a good workrate.

Puts guys like Perry and Laffranchi to shame on that showing.

Laffranchi is the worst forward I've seen in a long time. He is a coward, turning away from the impact so he can be tackled around the waist instead. In defense he doesn't hit the ball carrier, he receives them, allowing them to march him another 5 or 6 metres before someone else comes in and does the manly job of stopping the player.

Perry, although not a great player by any stretch and constantly injured, really puts the work in when he's around.

Still a very rough diamond, when you compare to such as Wigan's Dom Crosby!

Walmsley was outstanding. We improved immesurably when he was on. What a gem.

He has just been our best player in a Wigan Saints derby. He's now officially developed.

Very impressive. Frightening to think what he could be like with a couple more years of pro training and conditioning under his belt.

He was our best player I think, great performance!

I've seen a few comments from Wigan fans who thought he was dangerous; that's always a sign of when someone has played well.

He played very well, as did Crosby and Taylor. It's good for the game to have young players coming through showing promise.

He was very good.

I was surprised when he got a few knocks on this forum a few weeks ago when he made two consecutive errors when he was clearly knackered and should have been subbed,

Pleased he has enough confidence in himself to put in this sort of performance - one of the few bright spots today.

Absolutely brilliant today. Did he play for 60 minutes? He came on after 20 and I don't think he went back off after that.

i thought he was your best player by a long way today, ran in hard and made good yards

Manu started well, but guessing he went off injured

It will take him a season to get used to the speed and physical demands of Super League, but he has a bright future ahead of him.

He took the ball in strongly and often, and was a real threat when he was on. All you can ask from a prop forward is to make as much ground as you can and carry as often as you can, and he really did lead from the front.
