Not seen anyone mention it on here yet, so just wondered how you felt about the Bradford Saints game been moved to the friday so it doesn't clash with Bradford City's appearance in the cup final. Will it benefit your team or make little or no difference?

If anything it works in our favour; we play all of our home games on Fridays, so it means we won't have a short turnaround to the next game. But in all reality it won't make that much of a difference.

where does it say this?? the two club websites and sky all still say sunday??

Somebody tweeted the official Bulls twitter page asking if there was any chance of the game been moved to Friday allowing fans to go to Wembley on the Sunday, to which they replied saying they were currently looking into it and in discusions with the RFL. Also saw it tweeted by another reporter but can't remember who it was now.

bit harsh, makes sense to let them move the game, they would have a far bigger crowd on the friday than whats going to turn up on the saturday

Why will they? If anything, it'd be easier for Saints fans on the Saturday and no problems with regards to people getting home from work Friday and not making the game. I don't see any disadvantage with Saturday.

i dont really think as a saints fan that friday and saturday makes a differance, a little over an hour to drive just makes it a little tight on a friday and and such wont make to much of a differance for people attanding..

from a bradford POV the biggest sporting event in the town for about 5 years, in terms of football 10 and could be another 10 before anything comes close to it.

there is going to be a lot of dull fans that will want to go to wembly (could be their only chance) that now have to choose, i think the gate will be well down in terms of saints bradford ties and what will prove to be bradfords 2013 ave crowd

Am I missing something here? The football is on the Sunday! Hence why the rugby fixture has been moved from that day. So they don't have to choose anything. Like I said, if anything, there'll be a bigger crowd on the Saturday than if it was Friday.

Well it's knackered me up playing it at 2pm on a Saturday due to work....I could have gone if it was a 5/6 pm Kick off or even if they'd have played it Friday at 8pm....I know everyone has problems with whatever the RL decide but from a personal point i'm well gutted with the change.!!

2pm on a saturday seems a strange time

I'd imagine the 2pm Kick Off time is so that fans who were considering going down to london on the saturday could still potentially go to the rugby first
