We'll need Soliola on the pack so it will either be Wheeler or Meli at centre I think. Personally, I'd go with Meli at centre with Makinson and Jones with Gardner. I wouldn't pick Wheeler myself, he's been terrible this year when he's played

Wellens, Makinson, Meli, Jones, Gardner, Lance, Lomax, Perry, Roby, Laffranchi, TP, Sia, Wilkin: LMS, Clough, Flanagan, Dixon for me...If Gaskell and Wheels had played more games I'd have loved to see them in there for Gardner and Lance but it won't happen.

Personally I wouldn't play Gardner. It's play off time. He's been out too long. He shouldn't even be considered. |

I'd disagree on this one. Centre has been the one position open to young players trying to make a break through into the first team. Wheeler was in competition with Jones and Jones got the nod ahead of Wheeler. So were as others have been effectively frozen out by older players, wheeler has been in direct competition with his peer. He has also had oppertunities to regain that place from Jones. |
