Lady on the phone said wait till the season ticket renewal expires. I was like but yeah then I don't get the renewal price..

Seriously why is their not a waiting list for people that want to move so that if seats do come free you only still have to pay a renewal.

Why is everything so difficult with saints. Took like 4 months for them to send my tickets last year then they arrived in an envelope by special delivery that was falling apart.

Because everyone currently seated in the stand you want has until the renewal deadline to do so? How will the club know the seats are free until the deadline expires?

No seats will be available yet. They cannot offer you what they current don't have.

If you talk to the girls in the shop, they are pretty helpful. Unless you start saying negative things (as above), then they my just ignore you, but that is just the way life works.

I would suggest going down a week before the deadline, by then they will have an idea on what will be available and you can try and get "first dibs" on what is available.

There will be movement. But there is not a lot Saints can do other than wait until the renewal is passed.

The waiting list is not a bad idea when looked at from the individuals point of view, but from Saints it would be more difficult.

My family have season tickets in the North and the South and have other friends and family in other sections of the ground.

Ideally they would all like to sit together, but obviously they all want to pay renwal prices, not early bird. If they asked for a group of seats of say 10-12 for all these people, if that was possible to do, then when they were moved, this would make their old seats in the South and North available, which other people may want and then that would open up other seats. It would become a domino effect and how would Saints decide who gets priority on first pick.

To do it for 1 or 2 people is pretty simple but to do it for 10,000 season ticket holders, who all may have different reasons for wanting to move would be impossible.
Also the Gold and silver areas I think were pretty much sold out last year with just odd seats.

Probably the only thing the club could do, would be for you to commit to buying 2 seperate seats and then once the renewal period is past, seeing if you can then move those seats together, from those who don't renew. If that can't be done then ask to be down graded to 2 seats in the Bronze section.

I think that's the way my family are going to go about it, buy their current seats, then the day after the renewal deadline closes, see what seats come up for availabilty and see if they swap their current seperate allocations, for one bigger allocation. But that's got to be down to the individuals to organise.

In a way renewal fans could do with a swap shop week or days. The week after renewals close, no other tickets to be sold for a day or 2, whilst those with renewals move about.

Not likely to happen, but nothing to stop you doing it like us. The day the early birds go on sale.

What the club should do is to allow the OP to purchase his normal West Stand Season ticket at the lower renewal price and issue a transfer request note to allow migration to the South Stand when seats become available, The OP if successful would then only need to pay the price difference between West and South.

This is correct I have renewed my season ticket for the West stand at renewal price but have to wait until 17th September to see where we want to sit in the South Stand at early bird price differance. (hope this makes sense)

3 seats in the G block South Stand will be up for grabs. J row seats 221, 222, 223 these 3 are moving down a couple of rows taking over some seats where the people they know in those seats are going "executive seating". Check it out after the renewal deadline to see if its happened.

There should be another 2 seats in the south stand as well not sure of the block, but could also be G, they are moving across to north to join the rest of the gang.
