it is run by the coaching staff, despite the name suggests it being run by the captain. It is a very low intensity training session. Usually involves the backs doing some kicking and catching and the forwards doing something relevant to them. Then the team runs through some attacking sets
When we played at Widnes last year, we did the captains run at the Widnes stadium but as we was playing poor we changed it to our training ground and some players thought it was bad luck doing it at Widnes.
