It was very windy! Saints deserved the win and the defence was pretty strong, Saints kicking game was a massive difference as well.

| Just got back.
Saints deservedly won the game. Their kicking game was much better than Wigans and they exposed Wigans left hand side defence. Wigan had three tries disallowed (two of them were correct calls, not sure about the third) and really failed to use the wind at their back in the second half. Percival looks to be a very good centre in the making.
One word for the referee, "abysmal" for both sides. Wigans second try came from a set of six from a Saints knock on by Ashe that never was. But that was to even things up after a similar incident that went Saints way in the first half.

| Has anyone in our camp seen this Percival play recently? If he's in the Under 20s, one has to wonder why he wasn't called up when Swift and Jones were. Jones is a decent build I suppose but Swift is as sparrow legged a runt as it's possible to get.

Percival is a year younger than them both which is probably why, he's also a bit smaller than Swift. Coincidentally, Swift isn't actually THAT small in reality.

| I saw Percival play in Australia last October and was very impressed but he is fairly slightly built. Mike Rush was telling me he missed out on a year of development due to injury.

| Percy at this present time looks like someone who has spent the last few years engaged in method acting for a role as a concentration camp survivor at Auschwitz, such is the lack of meat on his bones.
Definately one for 12-18 months down the line, provided Saints manage to get some food inside him.
He only turned 18 a week or two ago.
