Just phoned up to order my ticket for Friday - took me a couple of goes as the ticket lines were busy.
That's a good sign, although I guess they're dealing with a lot of people who normally have season tickets.

Any guesses on the crowd?

about 5000 is my guess, but if this weather persists, alot less

Prices are:
Adults: £14 seating; £12 standing;

Concessions, £12 seating, £10 standing;

Under-16s, £5 to sit or stand.

Junior season ticket holders can get in free - but need to swap their vouchers before matchday.

that's a little pricey! £10 and £5 would have been more realistic

Each of those sections in the North stand holds approx 450-500 seats.

I'd say the have sold about 2k in seating, but I'm not bothered enought to actually count. Then there are the terraces. Not sure how many Oldham will bring but you'd imagine the West terrace will at least half sell.

I'll be slightly more optimistic and say 6k to 6.5k on the night with walk ups.

Apparently the ticket prices are in line with what fans pay at the Whitebank Stadium.

Surely don't want to price tickets too low otherwise neither club will benefit from the match.

I'd imagine Oldham pocket the receipts from the first 1,500 tickets. Then costs are taken out and the rest of the profits shared. To be fair it's probably over 10 years since ticket prices where that low at Saints.

Allocated and family ticket sales add up to 1885.

they'll be lots of sales in the West Stand probably 2-3k plus

It's going to be interesting to be reminded of what Langtree Park looks like almost empty! I remember the freezing night those of us with season tickets went along to the training session, held as a safety certificate event. I would imagine around the same number of people will turn up tomorrow night.

I cant see more than 3500 to be honest.

On Radio Merseyside tonight they said the girls in the ticket office said about 5-6000.

Well the 2 of us ( west stand season ticket holders ) won't be joining the crowd for this one as the days out budget for this week was spent early this week on the Extreme stunt show which is touring the area

If you have seen it before do your self a favour and save your cash or spend it on 2 tickets for fridays game...
