Entertainers my . Second half yesterday all you did was kick the ball on 2nd and 3rd tackle it was like watching a union team.

Difficult to play without the ball. Penalties were a massive issue 2-8 at half time I think.
I think Rush commented on it, losing players before a game you can plan for. Losing Lomax very early, in addition to Wello who organises and links attack wise a hell of alot were huge misses. Wilkin at SH and safe to say a side is going to struggle. Shame Wheeler was injured as he could have slotted in at seven from the wing. The rugby on show the previous two weeks showed the flair we do have and are now allowed to play with under Rushie & KC. If you expect a harlem globe trotter performance in the fiercest of local derbies then youre an idiot as well as a poor troll.

Incidentally not watched the game on sky yet, but it was apparent early on how strong the wind was, and a huge advantage attacking towards the away end. Lance kicked early a few times second half which I thought established us some field position and got us a foot hold in the match before Soliola's try.

Saints have come back in recent games from playing just plain rugby, nothing fancy and that may be the case for a while until confidence is fully back and when Brown takes over and he shapes the team with his tactics, that's nothing to be shamed of.

Wigan had players missing too... Funny no one remembers that. We lost Pat Richards during the game.. Sts were beaten by a better team .. End of

I thought it was a poor tactic from Saints kicking on the third and forth looking to gain field position. It was almost like saying to Wigan "we can't compete with you in the forwards so we'll have to try this". Problem was you were still making so few meters in 3 or 4 plays that you were often kicking from within your own 30, and to add insult to injury they were poor kicks backed up by a lackluster chase.

I think the worst thing from Saints yesterday offensively, were the laughable panic ridden ends to sets on the Wigan line. At least twice during a period of Saints dominance the end to set's was fluffed.

This. Headless chickens I think is the phrase. We had no one out there who would stand up and be counted and considering we had a World Cup Winner in our team it is, frankly, frightening!!
