In our glory days, we always had an impact player who came off the bench and could change the game. Not sure who falls into this category in this current squad. Maybe spelling Roby & Lomax and putting Lance at Scrum half could give us another dimension.

I think we need to give lance a run at number 7. Unless we can pick up jarred sammut.

Hohaia has never played an extended run as a half, so he's going to be no better in marshalling the troops around than Lomax is. When Roby is back, Hohaia should be used from the bench and given 10 minutes at the end of each half like Burrow does for Leeds, with Roby moving to loose forward.

Lomax should be given a run from fullback so we have the third creative player that all other teams have, which would take the pressure off those playing in the halves.

Anyone not living in Charlie Sheen land can see Hohaia has far more of a tactical brain than every other scrum half candidate.



So who is playing scrum half?

We cant pick up Sammut if we are going to resign Sia as his dispensation for not being on the overseas/non fed quota ends at the end of his Bulls contract.

i dont want him, but a checky loan?

We still cant get him,i doubt the Bulls would loan him and if he leaves the Bulls his dispensation would be null and void and he would be non fed trained,its a non starter.
