I know the negatives will outscore the positives, but just short of 15k for this game was a fantastic effort. I know it won't win us trophies but a huge improvement on recent seasons and for that I am happy. The performance however.....

Such a shame that the influx of new spectators will be limited by the club's inability to put a competitive side out.

Hope our on field performences dont put them off coming back, i'll be there no matter how many games we lose.

I think I agree with you. It's one thing losing with noble effort and skill, or even with noble effort like at times last year, but it is another losing with such a woeful excuse for a game of rugby.

I was really annoyed with them when we lost to Catalans as they had played well in the first half and we threw it away in the second.

Tonight I'm just utterly depressed. Unlike last year I can't see us turning this around because what we have on the pitch is all that we have. There are no exciting young players to surprise us or committed senior players to actually do some work.

I think supporting Batley would be great. They are working hard and playing well. It's seeing players who should be doing so much better making schoolboy errors and showing a disdain for bending their backs which is the problem here.

ref the salary cap,it would very interesting to know how much headroom we have because based on the players in the squad there should be plenty.
