A punter at Stockport Station has just told me that Saints have got their own Real Ale brewed by Robinsons for the new Stadium.

Is there any truth in this?

I can't believe what a great idea this is, everyone wins in it.

I'm going to mention it to the people at Leigh, but I think the stadium has already sold its soul to the horrific Carlsberg/Tetley 'brewery'.

They will sell more beer at Saint's new ground because they have a bigger average attendance than we do.

I do not like cold/smooth flow bitter so do not buy it.

The pub signs look ok though.

I don't blame you mate! Smoothflow and that crappy so-called lager such as Fosters, Carling, Carlsberg and the rest of that tasteless, ice cold gnats is awful stuff. Robinsons usually do a good pint and I'll be looking out for that Saints Gold on Friday.

I am not a bitter drinker at all, but tried a pint of it last Friday and was very impressed!! Think I will definately be sinking a fair few more over the season!!

Its great when somebody comes up with a good idea and it actually gets implemented.

Robinsons know their stuff, so I reckon they will have made a brew that appeals to bitter and lager drinkers alike, nothing too strong or complex.
