Just been to the Tescos and looks like there is storm damage to the top of the stadium. Looks like metal and fibre glass hanging off the top of the roof.

I was at the shop earlier and theres insulation everywhere, hope langtree provided a good guarantee as this is hardly a mega storm, just a tad windy

A tad windy? Where were you between 7.30am and 8.00am this morning? It was a fookin hurricane in St Helens with monsoon rain!

thats just it though, its only gusting to about 50 mph, which a stadium should be able to take, if it was around 80 mph id understand but this sort of weather happens a couple of times a year, every year and KR took it ok for over 100 yrs

I'd be very surprised if this morning's gusts, and indeed those of about half an hour ago, were only 50mph. This morning was ridiculous. No visibility at all thanks to the horizontal lashing rain. Twice I ended up in the wrong lane/wrong side of the road because I just couldn't see anything in front of me. It was one of the scariest journeys into work that I have done and there have been a few scary ones over the last couple of years!

But they seriously need to look at that corner and see what can be done so that this problem never rears it's ugly head again.
