Regardless of what our very own Wigan fans say, and the Wire lot, I believe the 2 teams that get to OT deserve to be there, we all know the format at the start of the season and whether people agree with a top 8 or not, thats how it is. The two teams that get there have peaked at the right time and thouroughly deserve to battle it out at Old Trafford, I really hope its a classic final tonight and the weather holds out. Good luck.

To be fair I have said the same thing over and over again the last weeks on these forums, this "anti top 8" rubbish our own fans are spouting is quite embarrassing, if it was us that was in the final tonight the threads on our board would read "what a fantastic achievement to reach the GF from 3rd/5th" Saints outplayed us twice when it mattered, okay, maybe we had a bit of fatigue with the cup run but thats no excuse for professional sportsmen these days. Saints and Leeds have shown that mental toughness at the business end of the season that both us and Wire didnt have, therefore deserve to be in the final. And I think its safe to say that if you win the GF, with us winning the Challenge Cup, THE derby in RL is most definately BACK. |
