Made the step up to the U20's this week and bagged a hat trick of tries. This lad is a superb centre. His scored something like 14 tries in 9 U18 games and now 3 tries in 2 games for the U20s!

Keep a look out.

Other players really impressing me at the minute are Jordan Case and the 2 lads who have stepped up from our U16's Luke Thompson and Greg Richards!

First team possibility next season or too young?

André Savelio is going to be a star in few years for saints. He's playing U16s at the moment and is a real unit. He's fast, strong and good hands.

I know he's impressed a few first team lads.

He had a good game v Wigan in the U16's game. However, a big fast and strong lad at 16 doesn't always equate to a similar player at 18/20.

He was at the game V hudds before the match or at half time I can't remember because he got player of the year for under 16's at saints

He's injured at the moment but hoPes to be back for the Wigan game.

I arrived to see the lads clapped of last night and I was astounded at the size of Brotherton and who I now know was Greenwood. Hand looked a lump too.
Its nice to see since the last batch of forwards haven't been the most physically blessed (mind you, I remeber thinking Clough was too small when I first saw him).

Get them in the first team. Salford at home. We could beat them with an all academy lineup, so why not try a few out? Two or three in the 17 and two or three on the bench.

I have said it previously on here that the current u 18's side are very very good, most are approx. 17 & most of them are signed up. I know they won't all make it in SL but I think a large majority of them will from this crop as they have the size (in abundance) the skills & the right attitude. Also as had been said, the u 16's are of similar standard. Looking to be a bright long term future in a great new stadium.
