There is a thread on VT referring to an alternative League table, so I asked if anyone felt like compiling an all time Super League one. apparantly someone on Cherry & White has already done it; wigan.rlfans.com/fusion_pages/in ... age_id=259 The guy who posted the link did point out that if it was updated as of today Wigan would be second, but given that they are currently about five points ahead of us, they would have to do that every year for about the next nine years before they drew level with us. Does anyone want to point out to Wire fans that if they finished five points ahead of us every year it would take them 50yrs to get level It made me smile so I just thought I'd pass it on.

How well did Gatehead do in their season in SL? Remarkable really.

yeah keep it neat lads just the last 15 years...........if we went back a bit further it would get all messy working out the points from the times you were in the lower leagues.......

Its a terrible shame to how bitter you Wire fans are towards Saints Wigan and even Leeds at a stretch.

Its a tremedous achievement by Saints to be top of that pile, and their points scored is very impressive - although Im quite shocked that we have conceeded less than you guys - It really does show that you have been part of 'however you men score, we'll just score 30 more'

Its alright saying youve won 2 challenge cups in the past 2 years, but when you start winning a few League titles is when you can properly challenge other clubs fans on their successes. We have 19 and im sure Saints are not far behind.

As much as us and Saints are massive rivals (biggest in superleague) - we have a mutual respect for each club and can recognise achievements what each club have made - even through our gritted teeth.

Big clubs win leagues, not just cup competitions.

Isn't it lovely how Wire fans have managed to make Wigan and Saints fans unite under some sort of respectful umberella.

Wire should head out to the Gaza Strip next.

I was just thinking about that,
i have started to have a geniune dislike for wire fans (not all of them), its not because of all the super leagues they have won , its because they have won 2 trophies in god knows how many years and all of a sudden they are the best team to grace the planet with in the last 20 years.

If in 15-20 years they have eclipsed Saints, Wigan, Leeds and bradford in success then i will hold my hands up and say im wrong but until then they are not even close to have a peroid where they can dominate/

Well the circle turns and currently we are on a slight down slide, but hopefully our wheel turns alot faster than that of the Wire and we will not spend the next 50 years wandering the wilderness. As it is nothing has been won yet and as far as the CC goes, this next round Wire do have a really tough draw. So pesky little side called Wigan, I've heard they are rather good to at the moment. Although due to my GF amnesia syndrome I can't quite recall why they are seen as so good.

Wigan must be above Leeds now according to that table, but Leeds have one twice as many title's. Which proves one thing - Warrington are the best team in the NRL.

I think a Northern Union/Rugby League all time table would be far more relavent/appropriate
