| What with McGennis seeming the first choice out of the three, we surely need to make sure these guys don't go stale and, even with our current injury list, the likelyhood of us using them both in a week is pretty slim.
Should we be looking to loan one out for a couple of months?

| McGennis is a prop Ashurst & Dixon are second rowers so I wouldn't think they are vying for the same position.
I have posted before that these two should be put out on loan for there own development and for the benefit of the club. They will not develop playing in the reserves.

I thought Magennis was a second rower?
I think Dixon and/or Ashurst will get a look in at some point over the Easter period.

| I'm pretty sure Magennis is a rower. I am still a bit confused as to why Dixon fell out of favour with Royce, he looked like he was going well under Potter to me with Ashurst being the weaker of the two. A dual reg for either would do no harm at all.

| Magennis plays both roles really.
I imagine both Dixon and Ashurst will play over the hectic Easter period as we've got a few injuries anyway and may pick up more.
Maybe a bit further down the line it'd be beneficial for one or both to go on loan for a month or two, but they'll both get first team opportunities once we pick up inevitable injuries.

| Magennis was a loose forward in the u20's I think with Ashurst and Dixon in the second row. I think going forward Magennis will be moved into the front row (we can see it happening now) , hopefully as a ball playing prop. Not sure if this would always have happened but I imagine his pace has been affected by his injuries hence his speedier move into prop.

I've never really rated Ashurst, he doesn't seem to really do anything.

'" I think he is, but he played mianly prop against Wakey. He still looks pretty light though, so that role would be alot more difficult for him against a side like Wigan or Cas.

He's 101 KG, which surprisingly is only 1 less than LMS and 1 more than Soliola.

He looks smaller than that, though. Maybe he's got a really big head, or something, which skews his appearence (or weighs alot).
