Jammer is a huge loss, but IMO if Cloughy is back it is minamised as much as it can be.

When I was doing the predictions on this weeks games, this game was one of the trickiest to predict. Wigan are not the team of last years GF. Neither are we. We are 'understrengthed', but we have been playing better with the big names out than were where with the big names in.

Wigan got a win on Friday too. So both teams can go in with confidence. In the end I could not split us so I opted for Wigan 22 - Saints 23. But god knows who would get a drop goal for us???

I can't see a 2nd draw against Wigan some how. But there home form has not been as good as the away form.

In the end checking the tea leaves would probably give me better accuracy.

ps the other tricky tie was Leeds Bradford, for the opposite reason , I can't decide who is worse.

Without prejudice a massive 4 point game against the champions is not a game to throw someone in who has shown no form at all in the first team this year

Backbone problem.

At the moment the team are working hard for each other....See 2nd half on friday night....Eastmond can only be seen as a disruptive influence and would therfore in my opinion have no right even being considered for such a critical game.

ANyone any idea how sales for the Saints end are going for this game.

Wigan are down to the last 700. with a fair few single seats left. No idea what our travelling band is looking like.

It'll be 2500-3000 i would guess, hopefully more.

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see him in the team at some point, especially if we keep going the way we are going with injuries but I'm not entirely sure we are at that point at present, unless Meli is not yet fit, in which case we would be short of a centre. I'd suggest Makinson but I think a derby is not the kind of game in which to play your full debut!

I know that a fair few of Saints fans have bought their tickets from Wigan.
