Wello went for a scan this week. Presumably, if there is still the possibility that he will be fit, then the scan didn't show sufficient damage for the operation that was mooted.
As for Wheeler, yes: he has torn a muscle in his back. I'm not sure how bad that is. I saw him pull up at Cardiff. But he continued playing. |

As do yours. Briers will play and if Wire are losing he will depart the field of play injured but if there is a comeback or they (wire )are in the lead he will come back on after making a miracle of a recovery.   |

I have to confess that when Briers went down injured in Cardiff my first thought was 'it's because they're losing'! How bad is that?
