How are we doing in this regard? I can't remember reading anywhere about whether we spend up to it or not and the lack of figures on the Saints and RFL websites are appalling.

Are we up to the cap or are we holding some back for Jamie Lyon's return mid season?

According to Tony Colquitt you are (were) spending up to your cap limit for 2010.
Mind you, he did also state publicly on Radio Manchester that the new ground would be ready for June 2011, and that Saints had sold as many tickets for the GF as Wigan.

I'll leave you to decide.

Similar to Wigan saying they didn't use image rights payments then I suppose.

I hope you aren't suggesting that Uncle Mo told fibs to his fans.

As if he ever would!

Half of what Uncle Mo stated was not true, the other half were lies. Not much to decide here, apart from which were which!!!

Please list his achiements, starting with:=
1 The Game in General (Administration wise)
2 Great Britain Team
3 Super League (please mention how Wigan RLFC were on the verge of going out of business)
4 Is he any relation to Vince Cable?

I thought I answered it (admittedly with a bit of sarcasm, which is most unlike me) in the second post on the page.

Maurice Lindsay was a very good RL administrator, although he still has his enemies within the world game!

Wasn't he involved in the Super League RL war that was responsible for the break up of the game down under between the Super League and the ARL?

Did he not once quote in these dealings that"history is bunk."?

When questioned on the AshesLindsay replied

Whelan and Lindsay were also believed to be the dream team to save Wigan RL, but sadly both exited stage left after delivering nowt in their time there!

He also didnt fit in with the salary cap did he? icon_wink.gif

I'd say we prob spending at the top end of the salary cap. I think in years gone by when we've had the likes of newlove, longy, kc, tommy, joynt and scaly etc we was bending the rules somehow. ( like a few teams are now)
