Seeing as this is a squad number and not the number for the hooker at the game as it used to be, should saints retire the number 9 at the end of the season in king keirons honour?? thoughts???

I expect who ever gets the No 9, will be an even greater player than they are now, theres something special about the Saints No 9.
We,ve been fortunate to have so many legendary No 9's in our club history. in fact I can,t remember Saints having a "poor No 9" in the past 50 years.

No - I hate squad numbers anyway but retiring traditional numbers for players is a stupid football idea. Roby should and hopefully will get the 9 shirt next season. |

Robes to take it on, unless he settled with being a 14... we dont go retiring numbers, the 9 can be seen as an imortals shirt, and if you wear it you should feel the imortals powers run through your body.
