In a word no!

I am surprised. He has looked very capable on the few occasions I've seen Salford this season. But if he can't get a deal there I don't think it's really worth us discussing.

Would love to see him back at Widnes! In his first spell showed a lot of class and had clearly been learning off Gidley! Maybe straight into SL hasn't helped but I think a full year of championship rugby at centre would do him the world of good and he could return ready for SL week in week out?

I remember when both Tyrer and Chris Dean were on loan at Widnes at the same time, and all the Widnes fans said they rated Dean far more than Tyrer.

And we know how unconvinced we've been with Dean in our starting 13 this year.

Can he tackle yet?

No. He also has a problem with keeping hold of the ball near his own try line.

Without doubt shown some excellent skills with the tries he's scored and created a few too. The main problem is he can't tackle and comes up with way too many error's for any team to cover up.

It's a shame really because he could be a great player. Sadly atm he's just too much of a liability
