Aside from the fact that I feel for Roby being badly injured, an injury to another of our star players this season is the last thing we need.

O'Meley had the ball, there was nothing wrong, just Roby vs O'Meley and the bigger man wasn't the one being hurt.. hope he's ok, but it was just a big impact.

the key word there, apparently, roby just came off second best to a strong running o'meley, no penalty was awarded and nothing went on report, it was just an unfortunate collision

That nothing was done on the pitch is meaningless. The RFL watch all the matches back and make decisions regardless of what the ref did or didn't do, and likely as not the ref would do nothing even if the tackle was illegal. Our refs are idiots on the whole. But I'm just going on what the Sky guy at the match said and we'll see whether the RFL calls him up next week.

As I said on the Hull site, I don't think you know what that phrase means if you think Roby is anyone's bitch. The man tackles above his weight every match and comes back for more every time. All that stopped him this time was being out cold. Even the god O'Meley couldn't tackle when out cold.
