Robert Roberts, what were his parents thinking?
Could have been worse I suppose, the big veterans homecoming parade in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago was led by Major Dickie Head. I kid you not.

| Whatever -- we will have 2 inexperienced wingers in the team.
The biggest help you can give them is to ensure that we have good centres with them. That will help tons with their positional play especially in defence.
So -- best to go with Gidley and Flannery as centres.
Pryce and Eastmond are a good pairing - one of the best in the league so best not to break them up.
Whether Wellens will play full back or not, isn't clear.
There are a number of possiblities to fill in at fullback if necessary.
Let me see ---
Roby has played most other positions so far but never at full back as far as I know.
So--------------------------
He can tackle, he can kick, he can run, he can catch a ball, he can break a tackle, he has good positional sense.
Obviously a future England/Great Britain full back waiting to be discovered.
OK. Not too serious - just a wild dream.
Ch.

| I'd go for:
Lomax
Wheeler
Gidley
Flannery
Roby
Pryce
Eastmond
Graham
Cunningham
Fozzard
Clough
Dixon
Puletua
Moore
Ashurst
Hargreaves
Emmitt
Gaskell and Wellens to miss out. If Wellens is fit, then i'd put him at fullback, Lomax to the wing, Roby to loose forward, Puletua to replace Emmitt on the bench. I wouldn't risk him though.

Correct it is. However, we don't have much options, someone is going to have to play out of position and we know Roby is capable of playing anywhere, and would just get on with the job no matter where he plays. He's played there a few times this season and never let anyone down. Not ideal, but if Wellens doesn't play, then we have no-one thats going to be ideal to put on the wing.
