I hate to say it, but Huddersfield by plenty. I'm knackered after tonight and bar repeatedly bumping into a 16-20 year old Aussie chick I did nothing all night.

It's a ground we've struggled on in the past and they are another club who have done wonders with their squad development in recent seasons. Superb backs, some big forwards. I'll be more than happy with one win from the next two games.

We always struggle away at Hudds. However i've said it all season, on paper our strongest 17 is the best in SL. We can win anybody on our day. I'd love to finish a game this season with all our backs staying on the field for the full 80!.

I'd also be happy with one win from the next 2 games.

should be a good un, depending on we go against quins today and if we dont get anymore injuries.
we have the same problem with the backs too , dont think we've had the same 3/4 line all season yet

icon_rolleyes.gif OMG.

You've just beaten arguably the form team of the year ( who incidently beat Hudds at their place ) and yet you think youre going to get murdered.

Optimism alive and well icon_rolleyes.gif

Not at all. She's icon_hearteyes.gif . She sits in between me and another big bloke she sits with (Her Uncle I think). He obviously played rugby as he follows the play and puts the shoulder into the poor girl as the players collide, sending her flying into me. Obviously I stand my ground. icon_lol.gif

It's a very tough game, probably the toughest of the three games (Warrington, Hudds and Wigan). But after last night, the lads should be very confident and Wellens apart, we're at full strength.

I would rotate a few players for the Hudds game
eg Bring Fozzard into front row, rest Hargreaves Puletua or Graham
Play Gary Wheeler at Scrum Half and have Kyle at Fullback
Rest Cunningham and bring in Scott Moore to start.
I would also be tempted to bring Dixon or Ahshurst into the reckoning to freshen up the backrow a bit.

Certainly people with niggly knocks need to be saved for the Wigan game.

One positive is that Soliola looked a beast playing in the back row, and to think he wasnt even fully fit.

We have to keep one eye on the Wigan game and not knacker outselves out for that one. Otherwise the pies will walk it at Knowsley road.
At the start of the season the Wigan v Leeds game would have been expected to be a real toughie. However with Leeds likely to be without Peacock, Sinfield, Eastwood, Buderus and Ablett in the pack, along with half their backs missing, then I cant honestly see them putting up anything more than token resistence.

The other thing to note is that we will have just a 5 day turnaround from the Hudds game to the Wigan game, the pies will have the full 7 days.

I think Kyle's best position in the future will be fullback.

Agree.

Kyle is a scrum half.

End of discussion.

Our midfield organisation dissapears when Eastmond goes to full back, which gives the opposition a chance to respond with some momentum. It happened against Crusaders last week and the Wire this week.
Think Johnny Lomax will be earmarked for the future Full Back position.

It will be an advert for Rugby League. Giants are palying some exciting expansive stuff at the moment. A bit like Saints of 2 or 3 years ago. They do have a bit of a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot though and we need to take advantage of that. Can't wait for this one, although I'll have to start saving now as the price always seems to very high at their ground.

Prices for the Giants’ match are:

Adult £18
Concession £12
Junior Secondary school £5
Primary school children go free
Ticket prices increase on game day increase by £2 for adult and £3 juniors

compared to Saints :

Ground Adult £19 pre buy £17.50
Ground OAP £13 pre buy £11.50
Ground Young Adult (16-1icon_cool.gif £16 pre buy £14.50
Ground Student £13 pre buy £11.50
Ground Junior £13 pre buy £11.50

not much difference in prices

Should hopefully be a cracking game as its already being said we always seem to do ok against you lot at our place !

I'm sure that Gilly will get a good reception from our fans, a brilliant player and took his fair share of knocks for our cause.

Still can't believe we released him as he would still walk into our pack and add some pace to the team, but thankfully we look okay in the second row with Soliola in there.
